In the previous post we
talked about Niche Marketing in general. I admit it is an effective
and easy way to rank pages on top of Google, but on the other hand it
brings with it a lot of risks also. I may offend the successful niche
marketers who would say it made them good money but it's not legible
in the long term.
Moreover as I said
earlier, Google's top most priority is to present relevant and useful
to its visitors and advertisers. That is their business. And in
future, I think that Google might have a crackdown on such niche

Authority pages
contains a lot of content on varied topics in that niche. It is also
updated on a regular basis and invites people's opinions and comments
so as to have knowledge in every area. There is a constant rift
between Authority websites and Niche Websites. Niche marketers may
tell you "Not To Put All the Eggs in One Basket" and build
super targeted sites but on the other hand one also needs to know the
cost of building such sites.
- Different Domain for each site.
- Keyword Research for each and every niche.
- Outsourcing of Content for the posts and pages.
- Social Media Marketing, Backlinking.
- Hosting, Maintenance for each project.
And it is common for
Internet Marketers creating websites on unknown niches like Pet Toys,
I-Pad cases, Home Equipments and Golf Clubs. You see that they can't
follow their passion and moreover with every other sniper site you
are adding to the risk of Google penalty (Only if it's spammy and with little content) and
your expenses. And still you can't be very sure of earning a good
income.
But on the other hand,
you can easily build an Authority website based on your passion.

Yes. Building such
forums or websites require a lot of Patience and Passion. Without
them you don't stand a chance to succeed. Though the cost involved is
pretty low, you have to regularly keep your pages updated. It
requires a descent number of posts before you are even seen by
Google. But if you've the Zeal and Love for your interest then you
should definitely share it.
Moreover with time,
Google will start showing interest in you and you'll naturally start
ranking for various keywords related to your niche. No matter how
many Penguin or Panda updates they roll out, your website will always
have better rankings. As you build a presence people will start
hearing you and next time they will actually wait to hear from you.
So you will begin influencing them as well as their decisions. You
can have a loyal audience for you.
Excited ? But wait it
takes time.
You must have your very
own different style of presenting matter to your visitors. They must
be able to differentiate from the others. Humorous? Serious? Mocking?
Stick to one style and
follow it and soon people will start looking up to you.
According to me, Niche
Marketing if done properly can bring in huge profits. But one has to
often jump niche to niche in order to be successful. But authority
writing allows me to be free in my opinions and share the same with
you guys. So it all depends upon you, whether you want success in
short term or a following in the long term.
